Exhibition stand builder in Romania: design, build and on-site support

HT Design is a Romanian exhibition stand builder. Since 2006 we have designed and built custom stands for trade fairs and congresses in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara, and for exhibitors travelling to shows in Europe, the US and Asia. Why use a local contractor in Romania

  • Your project manager is in the country. Our project managers in Bucharest meet exhibitors in person and are in the hall during build-up, so a problem is solved on site.
  • We deal with the organiser. Each organiser has its own technical manual and approval procedure. We prepare the file and follow it through.
  • The stand travels inside Romania. Every element is checked, sorted and packed in our hall in Arad, then trucked to the venue. There is no cross-border freight to plan.
  • We design, build and install the stand. 3D booth design, construction of the stand and build-up at the venue: one contractor for the whole job.
  • One team from first render to build-up. Project managers, designers and the technical crew are all part of the HT Design team; you can meet them on the team page.

Venues we work in

Romexpo, Bucharest. Romexpo is the country’s main exhibition centre. Its calendar includes Metal Show & TIB, Indagra, DENTA, Pack Show and the Romanian Tourism Fair. Our portfolio includes stands at Metal Show (TRUMPF, Bielda, Guhring), Indagra (Big Dutchman, Rota Guido) and Denta (Gursk Medica).

Hotels and congress venues. Medical congresses are usually held in hotels, where stands are smaller and access is different from a fair hall. In October 2025 we built the Gursk stand at the congress of the Bucharest College of Dentists (CMSB) at Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest, and one week later stands for Gursk, Straumann and MIS at the Transilvania Congress of Dentistry at Grand Hotel Italia, Cluj-Napoca. In Timișoara we built for MIS Implants at the ICTN congress.

Organiser approvals and technical manuals

A custom stand needs the organiser’s construction approval before build-up. We prepare the complete file, with the technical documentation and drawings the organiser’s manual asks for, and we handle structural calculations and utility orders where they are required.

What the quote includes

You receive the quote together with the first 3D proposal. It covers:

  • 3D design by our designers, revised with you until the final version is approved
  • the approval file for the organiser
  • a graphics map of the stand and a final simulation with your artwork applied
  • construction: structure, flooring, custom furniture, lighting and, where needed, audio-video equipment
  • preparation and packing in our Arad hall, transport and build-up

Not included: your artwork files, which you or your agency supply using our graphics map, and the fees you pay directly to the organiser.

Lead times

Contact us as soon as your participation is confirmed: the date that matters most is the organiser’s approval deadline, set in each technical manual. As a real example of build-up time, our L3Harris stand at TADTE 2025 in Taipei (page in Romanian) was assembled in two days, after production and pre-assembly before shipping.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work in English?

Yes. Our international clients include L3Harris, National Air Cargo and swisstech, and your project manager will work with you in English from the first brief to build-up.

How early should we contact you?

As early as you can, ideally as soon as your floor space is confirmed. The date that matters most is the organiser’s approval deadline, which is set in each fair’s technical manual. If your fair is close, call us and we will tell you what can be built in the time left.

Do you only build in Bucharest?

No. Our offices are in Arad and Bucharest, and we build wherever the event takes place. Our work in Romania includes Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara.

Can you store the stand for the next edition?

Our hall in Arad stores reusable structures, panels, furniture and lighting and prepares them for the next project. Ask for the storage terms in your quote.

Do you also build outside Romania?

Yes. In 2025 and 2026 we built stands in Taipei, Lisbon, London, Las Vegas and Miami Beach.
